Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Privacy Policy") applies to any person who accesses the Website www.iello.fr (hereinafter the “Website”), creates a User account on the Website, proceeds to purchase goods on the Website or interacts with IELLO either via the contact form on this Website or by sending an email (hereinafter the "User").

IELLO, as the party responsible for data processing, is working and committed to protecting the privacy of Users in compliance with the legal requirements and in particular Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 (the so-called " French Data Protection Act”). The Privacy Policy is particularly intended to inform the Users of the Website about the way in which IELLO protects the personal data it collects when a User is browsing the Website.

Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, the terms which are defined in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale will have the same meaning in the Privacy Policy.

Article 1: Minors

The Website is accessible to all. Nevertheless, as indicated in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the purchase of Products on the Website is reserved exclusively for adults (aged 18 and over).

The creation of a User account as well as the collection of personal data via the Website are restricted to persons aged 16 and over. If personal data concerning minors under 16 years of age is recorded unintentionally via the contact form present on the Website, IELLO will endeavour to delete it as soon as possible.

 

Article 2: The data collected by IELLO

The data that Users communicate to IELLO

IELLO processes the data that the User communicates to it, notably when the User:

  • contacts the customer service,
  • creates and manages its User account on the Website,
  • makes an order on the Website,
  • participates in promotional offers or competitions,

As the party responsible for data processing, IELLO collects the personal data of Users in a lawful and loyal way, respecting their rights. The main objective of collecting personal data is to provide Users with a safe, optimal, efficient and personalised experience.

The information collected by IELLO, including personal data, is used for the following purposes:

  • Managing the procedure for creating the User account and managing the User account;

Article 5: Updating of personal data

The User undertakes to ensure, as far as necessary, the updating of its personal data by updating its profile on its User account or by sending a request via the contact form that can be accessed by clicking here. The User also undertakes to ensure that its personal data is accurate, complete and unequivocal.

 

Article 6: Communication of the personal data of Users

IELLO undertakes to keep all personal data collected via the Website and only to share it under certain circumstances and in accordance with the provisions of the French Data Protection Act.

In particular, IELLO can share and communicate your personal data with its subsidiaries around the world in order to adopt a coherent group policy in this area and to launch joint operations, events, and product and service offerings.

Article 7: Conservation of the personal data of Users

The personal data collected by IELLO is kept on the servers of a service provider located in the European Economic Area.

The affiliated companies, the service providers or other third parties listed above, to whom IELLO is likely to communicate the personal data of the Users, may be domiciled abroad, notably outside the European Economic Area. IELLO will then require that they take, in accordance with the regulations in force, all organisational and technical measures to ensure an adequate level of protection of the personal data of Users (including by the signing of standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).

IELLO keeps the personal data collected via the Website:

  • when the contact form present on the Website is used or when a User account is created: for a period of 3 years from the last contact with the User.
  • when sales are made on the Website: for the duration of the contractual relationship and for a period of 3 years from the end of the contractual relationship for use for commercial prospecting purposes.

In any case the data shall be retained for the duration of the applicable limitation period for all personal data collected in the context of the commercial relationship.

After this deadline, IELLO will delete all personal data it possesses concerning the User, with the exception of the data necessary for it to fulfil its legal or contractual obligations. 

Article 8: Security and protection of the personal data of Users

The security of personal data is one of IELLO's priorities. IELLO undertakes to take all reasonable administrative and technical measures to prevent any disclosure, use, alteration, accidental loss or destruction of the personal data that a User provides.

Article 9: Changes to the Privacy Policy

IELLO may update this Privacy Policy at any time to adapt it to any new practices and offers of service. In this case, the update date of the Privacy Policy will be updated and will indicate the day when the changes were made. It is up to Users to check for possible updates to this Privacy Policy posted on the Website. If IELLO makes changes that it considers important, Users will be notified via the Website.
